Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using TempTom (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Scope
TempTom provides disposable email inboxes and a Gmail "plus-alias" receiving feature. The Service is designed for receiving emails at temporary addresses.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities, including:
- Sending spam or unsolicited bulk messages.
- Harassment, threats, or impersonation.
- Fraud, phishing, scams, or deception.
- Malware distribution or hacking attempts.
4. Service Availability & Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is”. Temporary inboxes are not suitable for critical accounts or long-term storage. We do not guarantee delivery or availability of any email.
5. Limitation of Liability
TempTom and its operators are not liable for any loss of data, profits, or business arising from your use of the Service.
6. Premium Membership & In-App Purchases
TempTom may offer optional premium features through in-app purchase (“Premium”). Premium is subject to these Terms and to the platform rules of the store where you download the app (Apple App Store or Google Play).
What Premium may include
The exact feature set is shown in the app at the time of purchase. Premium is intended to enhance your experience and may include, for example:
- Removing or reducing third-party advertising in supported surfaces of the app.
- Faster or prioritized handling of incoming mail where technical architecture allows.
- Access to additional domains or mailbox options where offered.
Premium does not change the fundamental nature of disposable or temporary email: messages may still be subject to retention limits and the Service remains provided “as is” except where expressly stated in-app.
7. Pricing & Payment
Prices for Premium (including any subscriptions or one-time purchases) are as displayed in the app at checkout in your local storefront. Taxes or currency conversion may apply according to Apple or Google.
Payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android). We do not collect or store your full payment card details on our servers. Your payment relationship for the transaction is with the applicable platform and its payment terms may apply.
8. Refunds
Very important
All refunds for subscriptions and in-app purchases must be requested through the Apple App Store or Google Play using that platform’s refund or billing support process. The developer of this app does not directly process refunds. Whether a refund is granted is decided by Apple or Google under their policies.
9. Subscriptions, Auto-Renewal & Cancellation
If TempTom offers auto-renewing subscriptions, the renewal period, price, and billing cycle will be shown in the app and/or on the store listing before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time through your device or store account settings, for example:
- Apple: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions (or the App Store subscription management flow).
- Google: Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
If only non-recurring products (e.g. one-time lifetime unlock) are offered, there is no automatic renewal; cancellation language above applies when such subscription products are added in the future.
10. Account & Premium After Account Deletion
If you use the in-app delete account feature, your account and associated server-side profile data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy. Deleting your TempTom account does not cancel any active subscription with Apple or Google—you must cancel subscriptions separately in your App Store or Google Play account if you no longer wish to be billed. Purchases are tied to your store account and subject to platform rules.
